Software Development Manager

Tavour is looking for a world-class software development manager who can scale the engineering team rapidly to capitalize on the immense opportunity in mobile commerce. You will spearhead Tavour’s next phase of growth by creating a world-class e-commerce and community engagement experience on its mobile app and web. While experience leading teams will be preferred, a highly customer-focused engineer with a consistent record of excellence and one who embraces ambitious goals can take on this role.  Experience in front-end, back-end, full-stack, and mobile development are all relevant to this role. We are looking for excellence in past performance more than specific languages or frameworks.

This is a rare opportunity to join an early state profitable company. Having achieved profitability with a minimal venture raise this role is a great opportunity for anyone looking for hyper-growth in their career while not risking it all. This role will be a skip level away from the CEO and hence have a first-hand view of all company goals and strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of software development experience building high impact services and products
  • Experience leading efforts as a manager or as a technical lead in web or mobile-first tech stacks will be preferred
  • Shows high bias for action to drive self and team to achieve results that delight customers
  • Enjoys doing projects at half the time that most others would project and looks for creative solutions to achieve results
  • Knows how to implement A/B testing and data-driven approaches into product development
  • Can empower and enable engineers to demonstrate full ownership of customer problems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required
